Girl Coming Out of the Water

Edward Szatkowski graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Jelenia Góra – Zdrój. From 1976 to 1979 he took part in artistic open-air events. Most of his works are sacral sculptures, which were exhibited in Białogard, Darłowo, Czaplinek, Koszalin, Szczecin and in churches in many other places. These include individual statues of saints, Stations of the Cross and altars. A four-meter-high sculpture - the figure of a fisherman - was commissioned by the Czaplinek community and decorates the market square in Czaplinek.
