Małgorzata Borsukiewicz
POLAND
Who is Małgorzata Borsukiewicz?
Małgorzata Borsukiewicz is a Polish painter whose works transport the viewer into a world full of color, fantasy and humanity.
Her art is characterized by a deep belief in the life force of color and the expressive power of human emotions. In her paintings, reality and dream, the fleeting and the enduring, the physical and the symbolic merge. From deliberate deformations of the body, she draws on the profoundly human – vulnerable, searching, but always full of light and optimism.
The painter describes herself as a student of life. Two mottos guide her:
“Live and let live” – a call for tolerance, self-acceptance and respect for the diversity of human experiences.
And: “Obstacles and barriers are our teachers” – the belief that every failure is a necessary step on the path of artistic and personal growth.
For Małgorzata, painting is an emotional sine wave – sometimes full of doubt, but always driven by an unwavering love for art. This attitude is palpable in every brushstroke. Her fairytale compositions evoke memories of childhood and dreams, and her vibrant palette has long since become her trademark.
She used to lead workshops for children and young people and was involved in education; today she focuses entirely on her own artistic work. She regularly participates in plein air painting events, exhibitions, and charity auctions. Her works are held in galleries and private collections in Poland and abroad.
Małgorzata Borsukiewicz is a member of the artists' association ZPTS – Związek Polskich Twórców Sztuki.
